The CEO of the OCM Radio Network, Vic is a veteran, CBU Hall of Fame broadcaster. Having served in the fields of advertising, promotions, news and public affairs, his vision has always been the cohesion of the Caribbean peoples through the most powerful medium in the Caribbean – that of radio. Vic is a Caribbean man himself, with strong Lucian, Trinidadian and Guyanese connections. His alter ego, “The Market Vendor” is a household programme across Barbados; and has dominated the number one position in comedic programming in Morning Prime Time for over ten years. Vic is as passionate about broadcasting as he is about people; and it is this dynamic combination that has propelled him into your hands as one of the leaders in the industry and the head of the Caribbean Super Station.
This General Manager of the CCCL Group has over thirty years’ experience in the field of media, inclusive of radio, newspaper and television. Richard is a familiar face across the archipelago and also served as General Manager of the Grenada Broadcasting Network, part of the OCM Group. Richard’s team-building strengths have enabled the personnel to combine collective strengths and stand at the vanguard of broadcasting in the Caribbean. Richard is stationed in Trinidad, at the Rosalino Street headquarters.
As the Programming Director of the CSS, Big George brings a world of experience to the airwaves. Having experience from the Cayman Islands to the most southerly island of Trinidad, Big George’s contribution is as huge as his persona. He is one of the best loved morning men in Trinidad on Hott93 and is also responsible for the programming of that most successful Top 40 station. Big George is also credited with re-programming Love 104 at the sister Starcom stations. His knowledge of Caribbean music and tight programming has earned him respect among his peers throughout the Region. Big George is based in Trinidad and Tobago but has a keen interest in the ham cutters of Barbados.
Having been appointed Regional Advertising Manager, Veoma has made connections throughout the Caribbean in order to marry products with stations which will most suit their needs. She believes in the power of the brand and is also a broadcaster and news presenter. She has been awarded by the Caribbean Broadcasting Union (CBU) for her creativity in radio advertising and hosts a daily “Entertainment News” segment, heard daily in Barbados on Hott 95.3. Although her formal training is in Law, her true calling has been found within the broadcasting industry. She is most excited about serving you and creating more powerful brands throughout the Caribbean.
The Regional Head of Technology is one of the most skilled in the field of broadcast media and Engineering. He is responsible for the sound of the CSS throughout the Region and can be found many a night in Cumberland Hill (Trinidad) or at the highest precarious points in Montserrat and Antigua. He has worked tirelessly towards the success of the CSS and will be based in Barbados at the River Road headquarters. John is also a great tennis player and a chess aficionado.
Known as one of the gurus of News and Public Affairs, David has served the Group for decades and is still one of the top talk show hosts in the Region. His controversial style, with a yet classy flair, has enabled him to be chosen by the Barbadian Government to conduct interviews of national interest. His thorough approach to investigative journalism is second-to-none and has earned him an award from the CBU for his excellence in his field. David will head the News and Public Affairs arm of the CSS and is based in Barbados.
