Scenes for Barefoot Bandit film being shot in the Bahamas

Bahamians will never forget the exploits of the Barefoot Bandit, and now, neither will the world.

The Bandit, whose real name is Colton Harris-Moore, is an American fugitive teenager who was cahrged with numerous burglaries and break-ins of private homes and stores, along with crashing a stolen airplane, before being captured in 2012, in Harbour Island, Eleuthera. He pled guilty to all charges in June of 2011.

Now, the Film Works, a Canadian documentary film company, is putting Harris-Moore's story on tape and is reenacting the events of his capture.

Film producer Adam Grey and his team were recently in the Bahamas to shoot segments of the film titled "The Barefoot Bandit".
